Dear Rock n Rollers,
Levon Helms' passing last week will be remembered during this show featuring songs from Planet Waves and The Band. I've combined this with some other tunes from the Mamas and the Papas, Dead, Doors and the Rascals. Even though Levon will be sadly missed, I am sure you will enjoy this set!

TT 20 April 2012: Magificent Music
Dear Rock n Rollers,
Listening to the Clash's Sandinista inspired this show. Don't really know how I came up with this collection of songs, but I think you will enjoy it and agree with me on its magnificence! Enjoy!

TT 30 March 2012: The Man Who Sold The World
Dear Rock n Rollers,
Listening to a recent jazz recording of Bowie's The Man Who Sold The World reminded me of the power of this song. I chose several versions of this track (including Nirvana's acoustic cover) along with some relevant rock tunes from the 60's and 70's. Enjoy!

TT 23 March 2012: The Who
Dear Rock n Rollers,
I recently played Baba O'Reilly at a Conference here in Luxembourg and thought I would pull together some Who tracks along with some other of my favorites from the late 60's and early 70's: ELP, Yes, Doors, Jethro Tull, Blind Faith. Enjoy!

TT 02 March 2012: Early Pink Floyd
Dear Rock n Rollers,
Driving back from Provence this weekend, I put my ipod on Pink Floyd (shuffle) and I came across some lovely tracks from the early days (with and without Syd Barrett). Here is a sampling of music from 1967(Piper at the Gates of Dawn) until 1973 (Dark Side of the Moon), which I think you will appreciate. Prepare yourselves for a mellow and trippy show!

TT 03 February 2012: Doobie Brothers
Dear Rock n Rollers,
Remember the Doobie Brothers? This band from the Bay area hung out with the Hells' Angels in the Santa Cruz Mountains before striking it big with 'Listen to the Music' in 1971. The band then morphed into Jazz rock (eg Takin it to the Streets) with the introduction of Steeley Dan's guitarist, Skunk Baxter. During this show, we will showcase the Bros along with a few of their friends. ...Enjoy!
